Topic: Next Nintendo Direct?

Not to put too much stake in various rumours and leakers but it looks like the 5th is being alluded to for the Direct.
Nate the Hate has a podcast coming soon apparently so we'll probably find out from that whether these reports have any worth.

@Nintoz I feel like Nate rarely actually confirms dates. He got the Switch 2 release date right but I suspect he just doesn't usually know such precise information ahead of time even if he has indication a presentation is coming soon ish.

Since the rumours have been coming from less reliable sources I'm guessing it is more logic than leaks right now — e.g. Nintendo almost never misses a February direct and the most common timing in recent years has been right after the financial release, so Feb 4 or 5.

@VoidofLight In an alternate reality where Switch wasn’t delayed I’d imagine the October 2016 teaser would’ve happened in March/April 2016 and then the January 2017 presentation would’ve been at E3 2016.

As for Gen 1 at the Pokemon Presents, I don’t think so with the only NSO presence being the already announced Colosseum/XD for GCN NSO.

@Dev-N Nice timing, I had finished Path of Radiance but didn’t make much sense starting a new game with FFVII Remake so close.

I want to see the classic Pokémon games sold individually once again, with Home compatibility (and perhaps a physical cartridge that includes all of them?). I would gladly pay money to actually own them without paying a yearly subscription.
