Topic: Next Nintendo Direct?

Wait 18th is really weird for a direct. Usually they don't air until Thursday or so, right?

@Grumblevolcano Yeah I’m curious if the rumours about shadow dropping Among Us update and Beyond Good & Evil are actually because this is true or whether they have nothing to do with Nintendo doing a Direct.

@FragRed Yeah, I get those two- but it's still just all strange timing to me. I guess Nintendo hasn't kicked the habit of placing their June direct in a timeslot similar to how they used to do e3.

@VoidofLight Yeah perhaps, though maybe it gives media more time to digest and create articles on whatever they got to show. They have a whole week of spotlight on Nintendo.

@VoidofLight Outside of E3 it's most common for a Direct to be on Wednesday or Thursday (Wednesday more common recently) but September 2022 was a Tuesday general Direct. If it is tomorrow, it's probably to do with @PikminMarioKirby's theory about the 19th being a US holiday.

@VoidofLight @Grumblevolcano The Indie World they had in November 2023 also fell on a Tuesday so its not too unlikely. Definitely a trend-breaker but still; not impossible.

Pyoro is tweeting again... assuming we do get a Nintendo direct announcement soon, people may want to avoid the internet for a day to avoid spoilers. 😆 Only one so far but.... Pyoro.

there were talks about Fantasian coming to consoles and being announced at this months direct and I gotta say I'm very excited if that is true. The game doesn't deserve to be locked behind Apple Arcade.

@NintendoByNature I doubt it would be Wednesday because that's a federal holiday that Nintendo USA observes. So if it doesn't air tomorrow, it would have to be next week

@link3710 Because they'd have to announce it Wednesday, but since they'd be closed, that wouldn't work unless they make a Tuesday announcement for a Thursday airing, which would be 48 hours notice. Anyway, we'll know for sure in about 7 minutes
