@MarioBrickLayer problaby Metroid Prime 4 is gonna release in 2022/2023, considering Retro Studios still have a lot of important job vacancies to fill like AI programer for bosses and enemies.
@MarioBrickLayer I personally don’t reckon they would do a 3D collection or a double pack for Zelda. People have been buying them happily the last gen so Ninty know they can carry on with that.
For all of the talk about Zelda, Mario and Metroid id rather see a few more arcade/competitive games added to the Switch library than more epics. Some returning faces like Punch Out and 1080 would keep me happy.
@MarioBrickLayer problaby Legend of Skyward Sword, since the game is the only game of the franchise that still have not received a remaster or remake, remember all the listing that me and some people here posted, Legend of Skyward Sword is gonna be the next Legend of Zelda game to be remastered or recieve a remake.
@neogyo you forgot Mario Kart Home Camera Racer, in theory No More Heroes 3 and Bravely Default 2 are also coming out this year plus there's a physical release of Cadence Of Hyrule with DLC but I wouldn't include Mario 35 myself.
@jump True! I guess Bravely and Heroes are 1st party published. But yea ,, still no release dates.
Its funny bc I’d include Mario 35 over the Mario Kart game just because I’m not sure it’ll be much of a full game experience? Well M35 isn’t much of a full game either, or is it?we’ll have to wait and see for both I guess- maybe both should be omitted haha
@benav I hear ya , it’s not a killer lineup (especially considering the port/remaster nature of most of these) but yea at least it’s something to keep everyone clear on. No more need to panic! Hyrule does look pretty awesome to me tho, and I’ve never played Pikmin 3 or 3D World so stoked to finally do so. Also haven’t touched Sunshine or Galaxy since their respective eras so I’m happy to revisit them as well. I hope something you’re stoked on gets announced soon!
@neogyo Thankfully I have more than enough to play as it is so I'm not sweating it too much if the first party release schedule is a bit bare for a while.
@TexanSansei Hard doubt. The only thing they could possibly have lined up for a Zelda specific Direct that we haven't actually seen yet is a Skyward Sword Remaster or even a 35th Anniversary Collection, which isn't nearly enough to cover the length of even the Mario Direct we just had. Hyrule Warriors is probably going to get at least one or two more trailers and Aonuma basically said they're not ready to show anything from the BotW sequel yet. I predict another Partner Showcase and some more shadow drops on Twitter

The person who hinted at something being revealed today thanks to advanced retail listings, also hinted at a upcoming Pokémon remaster:
EDIT: The person hints at past content coming back. So could be content for Sword and Shield as well.
It's actually pretty much saying "People are complaining about the remasters, just wait until they see what is coming for Pokemon next." That implies it would be something really disappointing.
I suppose a LG sequel fits that bill, but the tone of that suggests something even worse. I know that's hard to believe that there could be something worse than LG. Lol.
I really don't know what it could mean. Are there any Wii U Pokemon titles left to remaster?
I don't think they could even disappoint me with the Pokemon series at this point. My expectations are that anything they release from here will be complete garbage so anything even slightly better than complete garbage would be a positive.
I'm a bit saddened by all the Let's Go Pikachu / Eevee hate.
Sure they were much simpler than Sword / Shield but they also had much more charm and in my opinion were much more pleasant to look at than Sw/Sh.
