Topic: Next Nintendo Direct?

It's now 4 days until it will have been a whole year since the last full Direct.

once we get past the first year, the second will be much easier. I have faith in everyone

Even without Direct, i found some upcoming games from playasia.
Playasia is my lifesafer now.

@-Green- Unknowingly we have all been in Direct rehab. Some have fared better than others.

They posted that on the 31st which is a Monday.

Guy that works at Nintendo tweets about the new week. Internet has melt down. Another week passes, nothing happens. The cycle begins anew....

Well, next week is officially the week I predicted the next direct would be after the last one back in uh... March? I have incredibly high expectations of course now. Clearly this means it's guaranteed to happen.

@Grumblevolcano That's why they're being so quiet. The direct is broken. And needs lots of maintenance to get it running.

That seems like an odd choice of time if true as it would be on an odd time and they normally like it on the hour.

I just think that they have a clearer idea of what they want the PS5 to be and they're communicating it more clearly to the market. "It's a more powerful version of the PS4 that has a SSD and will have the same sorts of games from the same developers. You will have the highest quality cinematic game-style first party exclusives. We'll even give you a brand new showcase one on day one!"

Microsoft has a more blurry message about XCloud and Gamepass and games as a service with "More POWAH" thrown in there. It's a very attractive offering (and technically stronger in many ways) but I don't think they've pitched it cleanly and I worry about their marketing focus.
