Topic: Next Nintendo Direct?

Nintendo will probably want to give attention to MUA3 DLC and Jedi Academy so if this week I think it'll be announce Monday and air Wednesday evening ("releasing shortly after the presentation"). Also Indie World was off by a day so general Direct is probably also off by a day if the overall rumour is true and being off by a day was due to time zones.

Just give me metroid( 2d) and botw2 in 2020 and I'm set

Those are both pretty low profile though aren't they. I'm hoping there's gonna be quite a few big reveals that mean those 2 things are relegated to 30 second trailers.

@Dezzy I do think they would be given only a short time like 30 seconds or 1 minute. As for reveals in general, I hope Smash and Animal Crossing don't take up too much time.

Yeah I hope both of those are only 30 seconds too. We need a lot of new stuff for this console to still feel exciting right now.

The fact that PS4 might have more good exclusives in their final year than Switch does at it's peak, is kinda a daunting possibility. But at the moment seems entirely plausible. FF7, Tsushima and TLOU2, are hard to beat.

It's 1pm UK time and no Direct announcement.

So, assuming it happens this week, which day is it going to be?

On the Switch news channel, they are advertising the Eshop. They are going over what it does. Don't we already know that?

I'm betting on a no show this week. Either way it's a win - win for me.

@Dezzy To be fair, this year is one of the PS4's best years in terms of exclusives. In addition to the ones you mentioned, Persona 5 Royal, Granblue Fantasy Versus, Godfall (maybe), FF VII Remake, Yakuza... might be their best overall.

I think they want to encourage people to buy games online, since there might be a cartridge shortage this year due to coronavirus, I guess.

@DannyBoi Maybe it's for those who bought a Switch with Animal Crossing. Either that or Nintendo's indirectly telling us "we have nothing to announce, go find something on the eshop".

I'm kinda surprised there's no quarantine sale going or something. I would consider buying fit adventure for a decent price, especially during these times.

I honestly think they would HAVE to do a Direct before the end of the month, as it’s the end of the fiscal year. They have to have more then this for their next fiscal year.

Saving everything for their E3 direct. Going to go toe to toe with the big boys.
