@Dezzy To be honest, I only joined to talk concepts about maps. And to see what people thought about my Michigan concept map. And then all this hype started about an incoming announcement. Followed by an announcement of an announcement. So I just stayed to enjoy the entertainment.

It seems like a bad idea to follow a community for something where you have zero information about the next game. GTA6 could be 3 or 4 years off for all we know. At least with Nintendo, we knew there was a 95% chance there'd be a Direct in the first 3 months of the year.
This brings back memories of the good ol Zelda Wii U days. Great times talking about grass tbh
Jason Schreier just tweeted that we should expect delays in future games thanks to the coronavirus, though not the ones in the next month or two. This could be why Nintendo are not keen to hold a Direct, they aren’t confident of getting the games done resulting in a lot of delays.

Can't imagine Naughty Dog or CD Projekt letting their people work from home while they're mid-crunch. They'll prob just ask people to get tested and then continue as normal.
Hopefully the delays aren't too bad, but on the bright side maybe by the time everything gets straightened out we'll have a crazy amount of exciting announcements lol
My hopes for the nindies direct: Disco elysium, papers please, crosscode release date, hades, beat saber (would be cool if you could use your joy cons instead of vr).

Wishful thinking:
-cadence of hyrule new worlds added or story lines
-2d side scrolling zelda(zelda 2.5) made by a team like YCG

-ittle dew 3
-blossom tales 2
-a mash up of indie characters like brawlout but instead, golf or volleyball that plays like the hotshot games
-anything YCG related. Yes we had their YCG presents not long ago, but they also said theyre working on a couple projects unannounced. What better time to announce them than in a nindies direct.
