For some insane reason, the legendary golf game Neo Turf Masters was put onto the Switch eshop under its obscure Japanese title Big Tournament Golf. Why on Earth would they do that? They should have used both titles. I'd been looking for Neo Turf Masters for ages, and always ignored the title Big Tournament Golf because I knew there was an inferior golf game on the Neo Geo and assumed I was seeing that one.
I've heard of a reason that it was changed so it wouldn't be confused with the actual real life golf tournament "Masters" series. I don't see how that would even be possible, but here we are. NEOGEO game asset editing/censoring has become a thing over the past few years. Neo Turf Masters, Baseball Stars 2, Art of Fighting 2, Football Frenzy (maybe?), and now certain Football/Soccer games are probably already going through edits as we speak. I hope there isn't anything left to change, but never say never, I guess.
Top Players Golf is the other golf game. It was a launch title.
