Topic: Need help concerning DLC and store

Hey guys, I recently got a switch in Japan and a drum game with it too (taiko no tatsujin). However, after I came back to Canada anytime I go the store to buy the dlcs it says

Software currently unavailable.

Is there anyway I can get around this to get the dlc for the Japanese game from the Japanese store bought switch in Canada? Thanks<3

@Giropi create a Japanese account on your Switch I guess.

Maybe next time get a Switch in the country you actually reside in? You would need a JP Nintendo Account on your Switch.

@Giropi : If you have bought the Japanese version of the game, then you will need a Japanese account in order to download any DLC as the Japanese version is not compatible with the international release of Taiko no Tatsujin (as the Japanese version of the game and its accompanying DLC are unavailable in Western eShops).

If you had bought the game from the Canadian eShop, or imported a physical copy from either Europe or Australia, then the DLC from the Canadian eShop should be usable with those copies of the game.
