Topic: Mutiplayer question help!

I’ll try keep this simple .

Yesterday I tried to play 3 player on mario kart on a switch lite .

I thought first player could use the controls on the switch lite and other two players would be able to use joy cons.

But it didn’t work , after we synced up the two joy cons to the switch lite it wanted us to add a third joycon to have 3 players 🤷🏼‍♂️ When the switch lite itself has perfectly good controls on it !

Is this possible to do?

Switch lite plus 2 joycons = 3 player

Or even this

Regular switch two joy cons and switch lite just as a controller = 3 players

If anyone knows where I went wrong I’d appreciate it.

@Supersloth29 I don't know this works because I don't have a Switch Lite, but I would make sure I'd tried launching the game with the joy-cons off, only turning them on once in the game.

@Supersloth29 I don't thinks it's going to work as when joy cons are attached to the console, I don't think it allows you to play multiplayer in conjunction with other controllers.

If you had an extra copy of MK8 deluxe you could probably play local wireless with the controllers you've got(I've not tried it, so look into it first) or you'll need an extra controller.
