Topic: Minecraft Jurassic World Questions

Hey everyone!

Thought I’d set this up to discuss the newly released Jurassic World DLC for Minecraft to get a few questions answered and also hear some first impressions from people who’ve played it! Personally, as I’m pretty new to Minecraft, I feel they did a poor job explaining exactly what you can do in this dlc, as well as whether it carries into the main game. I’m figuring I’m probably not the only one...

So, here are some initial questions (thanks in advance!)

How much management of the park is there?
Are there missions to complete/some kind of story to work through?
Can you use the assets in the main game? For instance, can you use the dinosaurs in the survival and creative modes?
It says you have to solve problems... what kind of problems are there? Do you have to rescue guests/ capture dinosaurs?

I’ve just posted something similar in the comment section of the article, but I’ll do the same here to hopefully save you all some money. I bought the game earlier and it’s pretty much unplayable in its current state. The game starts with a monorail ride through the park, and for the most part it was just huge unloaded areas with a few bits popping in. When I got off and started to walk around the park it seemed a little better, but there was still a lot of pop in and it didn’t load that far ahead of me. I then moved onto the dinosaur dig and then into the lab to clone some, and it all seemed to work pretty well. Problem came when I opened the park and was tasked with riding the helicopter to different areas. Again, the park would not load and I was faced with a huge blue expanse populated with a couple of confused looking dinosaurs. At this point I gave it up and am hoping it will be patched pretty soon. I’ve honestly never seen anything like it and am shocked that it’s been released in this state. It’s a shame, as the game seems like it’ll be great and a lot of love has clearly gone into the design of it all.

I have a question, is it possible that I can move the dinosaurs and all that other stuff into an already made world or a whole new one without the map and objectives and stuff?

I'm pretty sure you need an addon for that, not a modded map.
