Will there be a Michael Jackson experience for the switch? I’ve played in the regular Wii since I was a kid. I no longer have the game disc. But it’s been a question for a couple years will Nintendo remake this iconic game so we can enjoy it again?? It would be a big seller.

@Moonshroom Short answer, probably not, but that's just my guess.

I think licensing costs will prevent it from getting ported to a modern console. It hasn't been on any platform since Wii, Nintendo DS, PSP, PS3, Xbox 360, and it's review scores weren't great. I'm not saying it couldn't be fun, or interesting, but it doesn't help the cause. For example licensing is a big reason car games often don't get ported years later (because car brand contracts for the games run out, and they're too pricey to justify porting the game), and it's probably a big reason why Simpson's Hit & Run, or The Simpsons Game haven't been ported to modern consoles. If anyone has better/different answer, feel free to share.

@WoomyNNYes I think the main reason Simpson's Hit and Run or The Simpson's Game have been ported is more due to Disney rather then the price of the license. The Simpsons games would just print money for Disney.

I remember getting that game for my mom, but then she never took it out of its case. Now our Wii is long dead, so bringing it to switch would let us play it, but it's not like we were gonna play it anyway.

No. You would be better served buying a replacement disc on ebay.
