Topic: Mega Man X9

Do you think x9 will happen and what would it look like.

I think it depends on how well the Legacy Collections do. I think it'll also be sporting a new art style like Mega Man 11 is. It'll probably look a bit darker and more mature than Mega Man 11 as well. I would absolutely not be against them going with a 16 bit SNES art style though.

@Giygas_95 I was thinking it would go to a darker and edgey story and concept.It could 2d art-style Like SNES/GBA with advance Mode 7 and with polygons mixed in and 3D Boss Stages and a Hub World.Or just all sprities like a NEOGEO game.

I'll be honest, if I was Capcom, I'd totally make it an SNES style throwback game. It would be the perfect thing to do after Megaman 9.

@Giygas_95 I was thinking about all the music remixed in this game also should inti creates do it or not they where the ones who did 9 and 10 and the zero games and gunvolt games. So they would be great for it or have retro do it and it be nintendo switch only.

I can almost confirm that a new Megaman X is coming. The same about a new Ridge Racer.

If everything goes like it is planed, we should have news before the end of the year.

@andrew20 Inti Creates would be a solid choice for sure. If Mega Man 11 turns out well though, I'm sure Capcom could do X9 themselves just fine.

@Giygas_95 they did make X7 and X8 which are not bad just not great.I hope one day the do the mega man x sonic game like the comic book.
