Topic: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 control question

Was wondering if anyone playing MUA3 could shed some light on something for me.

MUA3 is the sort of game my wife would enjoy playing (plus it's something we can play together) but unfortunately her arthritic hands mean she has difficulty with button mashing. Does MUA3 require rapid button presses, or is there the option to hold the button down to keep attacking, a la Diablo III?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
