Topic: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Not Walmart Canada being the people with exclusive news! That would be unexpected.

I'm never sure if they get much information, or if they have someone like us working on their social media. It could easily be someone that's been following the evidence without anything official.
Definitely another "wait and see" situation, but sometimes that's more fun. The hype lasts for weeks, the courses can be raced on in 20 minutes.

Nintendo has FORGOTTEN about Mario Kart...

Mario Wonder will be making the money for them this winter.
I bought the DLC over a year ago, others will have it as part of the NSO expansion pack. If there was money to be made, it will have happened already.

-money aside, it will probably release in November. And as the "Final" iteration of MK8 I'm happy for them to take their time.

@StarPoint I doubt they forgot about it, honestly... it's been just three months since wave 5 came out. I remember it took a while for wave 2 to come out (there was a 5-month gap between waves 1 and 2), and wave 6 is still scheduled for this holiday. Nintendo's still working on this last batch of courses, so don't worry about it.

So, apparently a switch bundle is releasing on the 20th with MK8D, is it possible that’s the date of the wave 6 release?

Random question. So there's 4 characters being added with wave 6, but there's only 2 slots left. So.. How will this work? Me confused..

The recaps just finished last week, so I assume the trailer will be sometime in the next 2 weeks due to the pattern

Great selection of courses here. We all saw Wii Rainbow Road coming, but I'm still super excited about it as that's one of my favorites from the entire series. DK Mountain, Bowser's Castle 3, and Rosalina's Ice World look great, too. This looks to be a great wave to finish off the BCP.

It's a fantastic selection but the most interesting part is that Piranha Plant Pipeline is missing (we got 3DS Rosalina's Ice World instead) which makes me think the future of Mario Kart is more MK8. That we'll see a BCP 2 and/or an enhanced Switch 2 port.

WII RAINBOW ROAD HAS FINALLY COME BACK TO ME 😭
Stellar selection for the final wave imo; Wii Rainbow Road is of course the highlight (the remix of it's theme making it doubly so), but stuff like DK Mountain and Daisy Circuit are both fantastic and obscure picks like Rosalina's Ice World and Bowser Castle 3 make me very happy as well. Overall cannot complain in the slightest and I don't think I could've asked for a better birthday present (well, it actually comes out 4 days after my birthday but it's a great birthday present all the same XD)

@Grumblevolcano Or it just means that it'll come back as a retro course in the next Mario Kart.

Wave 6 looks amazing!
We're also getting 17 non-amiibo Mii suits to use and a music player in the next update too!!
