Topic: Mario is still a plumber

In Nintendos new holiyday guide website under mario section of gifts ot states witha picture "Mario is everyones favorite plumber". So it seems to me hes still a pumber just much much more.

This is pretty mind-blowing if true. Least you could do is post the link, as I can't find a 'Mario section'.

The series management team didn't talk to the NoA web design and marketing team, pretty obvious. We all know how few cares Nintendo gives about consistent canon.

Thing is, do you actually have to be a plumber to be 'everyone's favorite plumber'?

People think of him as a plumber, regardless of recent revelations, so surely he can be 'everyone's favorite plumber' without doing any plumbing.

According to Nintendo:

"As a matter of fact, he also seems to have worked as a plumber a long time ago...", so surely that entitles him to some sort of lifelong status as a plumber, regardless of when he last actually did any plumbing.....?

Mario is a doctor. At least he will be in my Super Mario Odyssey play.
Sometimes he will probably be an explorer and a few other things too, but mostly a doctor.

I visited the Holiday guide and I'm bothered by the low resolution Fire Emblem Warriors gif. I know the game isn't a visual masterpiece but that just looks embarrassing...
