@Apportal Thats fine man because I think mario galaxy 1 and 2 are one of the best game I have ever played. ( I have not beat galaxy 1 yet don't say anything)
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

You know, this is one of my favorite games ever, it's one of the very few games that I can replay and not be bored, and I've gotten all 120 stars multiple times; but I don't think I've ever used the bird to get that star. I always forget about it and just use the cannon every time. I just got that star earlier tonight via cannon.
I love Mario's voices in Sunshine. In other games when he gets hurt, most of the time there's just an "oopsie!" moment. No, in this game Mario screams bloody murder. Especially when he gets blown up or electrocuted.
On the subject of voices, Toadsworth is hilarious as well. "blahblahblahblahblah". Suitable for such an old man
To be fair, it's still the same button letter so it's not like it's confusing anyone
Anyway, I saw a video of the tutorial and you can tell they cut the audio (quite noticeably) so fludd only says "the button" whenever it would have said "the R button", and that's quite funny because in most instances it's probably unnecessary.
I've reached 92 stars in Mario 64. I've never collected that many before. Worlds 1 - 11 are 100% complete, and I'm only missing one secret star (and, unfortunately, I know which one it is). I think I'm gonna slow it down a bit tomorrow. It would be very taxing to try and finish it all this weekend, so I'm gonna take my time with the last bit.

Give me a heads-up if you're going to send a request please.
So who here was never a huge fan of sunshine? I'm in that group. Sure it looks great and plays okay but i felt this game was like a strange departure from traditional mario and the flood mechanic didn't exactly click with me. It got annoying constantly having to refill the thing and hunting for those blue coins with no marker or any kind of map to follow. You pretty much had to look them up online. I like the game honestly but It's at the lower end of my ranking that's for sure.

Was just coming here to post basically the same thing. Been playing a bit this arvo and it's terrible.
To me, it's a tedious, massive piece of. Deadset of a game.

Is there still no counter or list somewhere that tells you how many blue coins you collected in each level?
I can only see the total amount collected (and not spent at shop).
I'm slowly working my way through Sunshine. I've done no-guide runs before, so I'm going to test my memory with this one. I currently have 29/30 blue coins in Pinna Park, and the last one can be obtained from episode 6 onwards, because you need Yoshi for that one, in the park. It's good to see my memory is still doing its job.
@andisart If you open the map, you can go to each level and it tells you how many blue coins you have collected. This was also present in the original game.

@BruceCM
It's always been sorta the black sheep of mario. Much like Zelda 2 and Castlevania 2. Some love it while others hate it. One really weird thing is bowser talks. I don't mean grunts and growls either. He sounds like cookie monster. You'll see.😉
Sunshine has the most coherent world of all 3D Mario games. It pretty much felt like an open world back then, especially with how you can see the other levels in the distance. Seeing Pinna Park during the sunset in Sirena Beach still looks awesome today.
Well, I never played Mario before Super Mario Odyssey, so I'm not really an existing fan, @Zeldafan79 .... I'm sure I'd get fed up with the FLUDD & stuff if there were more like it
