I always forget that this game is a thing, then I remember and get excited.
As for @ogo79's post, that's tough. I love the cel-shaded look, but it doesn't look very consistent with the background, and I'm not a fan of the cel-shaded background. I might actually lean toward the first image — everything has a wonderfully clean look, even without the shading.
In any case, it's cool that they're reaching out to backers to help make the decision.

And why are people criticizing the animation so heavily. It's speed looks just like Symphony, and they even added the long running turn-around animation, just like in the games. You're only seeing it awkwardly, because 3D.
So far, this video just makes me look back at older Castlevania's and smirk real good.

It's actually IGAvania, as the creator likes to call it. Especially when the inspiration for IGA-like Castlevania did not come from Metroid, but from Zelda.
