Enjoying this game a lot, so why not have a thread on it?
Anyone else playing this game?
One question: Can I rewatch the tutorials anywhere in the game? Can't find it...
Another question: If not, how the beep do the boss battles work? I understand most actions, but the symbol with an arrow in a certain direction is beyond me. I understand it involves tilting L, but not sure how to pull it off.
I've been playing it, though it's making me want to go back to play the games on PS4, lol. I bought the collection and got distracted by other games half-way through the first game. >.<
Anyways the tutorials are at the main menu, under options I think.

Just waiting for my copy to arrive at the end of the week. I really enjoyed the Theatrhythm games on 3DS from the developer indiezero, so I assume this game is just as good. But now that MoM has released I hope indiezero's next project is a Switch port for NES Remix. Or better yet, a sequel to Retro Game Challenge. Loved that game.

Anyways I forgot that some tracks originated from other games, kinda glad Vim and Vigor made it in. xD
I'm guessing some have to be unlocked or something...? I think there's a boss track that I like from the original game that I haven't found yet, an I forget the name. lol

I LOVE action rhythm games, but something about this one just didn't click for me in the demo... like, I know you're not directly controlling the characters per say, but it almost felt "floaty" to me. It just kind of lacked the button-input immediacy, feedback, and punch that most games in this genre have to communicate to the player that you're on the right beat.
I don't know, the demo just didn't do it for me. I'll probably still grab it on sale at some point because I also love the KH games, but I was a bit disappointed when holding this up to other games like Runner, Lumines, Thumper, Necrodancer, etc.
@Joeynator3000 I wouldn't recommend going in that order. My recommendation is to just pick up the Remix collections on PS4/Xbox One
The Nintendo games are basically side games they pepper in between the numbered entries to set up plot threads that will be expanded upon when those release, but it's highly recommended you actually play through the full series instead of just relying on those games to connect the dots, especially since Re:Chain of Memories is way better than the original GBA game

I know about the PS4 collection, already have it, I'll play KHII at some point. Honestly I'm not exactly interested in the entire timeline/story thing at this point anyways. lol

After playing for an hour my first impressions are that this is a stellar music/rhythm game. With a presentation that's a cut above the genre norm, which is usually just notes dropping in front of a still background image. Now I'm curious to see if the challenge continues to remain casual or if the there'll be a difficulty spike that makes progressing feel impossible? Music/rhythm games like Superbeat Xonic and Musynx are equally good but become brutally tough pretty quick.
I'm hoping this escalates more like Cytus Alpha or Voez, gradual.

@Magician It does get harder but I never really got stuck or anything. I think I failed once on one track so far and that was it. Going for 100% though, I'm pretty sure that'll be a pain. lol
