Hi all, a question please if I can. Does anybody know if the everspace stelae edition add on encounters is included on the cartridge, or is it a free update. Just received my copy today and was hoping for an answer before I play. I have the routine of registering my cartridges first then software update check before playing this is done on a stable broadband connection which I won’t have until the weekend. I have tried web searches but don’t seem to find any info. There’s a nice little art book included.

If there wasn't a redemption code on an insert or on the backside of the box art, then it's fair to assume that the Encounters expansion is on the cartridge. Especially considering that the file size for Everspace is less than 4GB.

Thanks for the reply only saw it this morning. After an email from Michael schade from rockfish games, he has confirmed that the dlc is incorporated into the base game and every thing is on the game cartridge. So great news for physical collectors.

Yes I saw the listing and just assumed by that pic that the encounters add on was a download card included in the box along with the art book and digital sound track. All is good and well though so no complaints from me.
