im curious as to how mario kart always has good online; i remember before they shutdown MKWII's online it pretty much ran great compared to other online games on the wii, & now its the same for switch. how are they able to make a games online that groups TWELVE people from literally around the world into a smooth lobby, when racing games on playstation can apparently only support 8 players . its crazy to think about because im sure were all playing wireless but i rarely notice any lag
MK does seem pretty stable, Smash was unplayable due to lag when I tried it.
Unfortunately with MK I get bored after a few rounds. Without being able to chat with people as we race it feels like im just up against better bots rather than real people.
Im not a super competitive gamer and half the fun of playing online for me is meeting new people and having a laugh, I wish Switch had LFG boards and native voice chat like Xbox does as I would definitely play online more then.
