My daughter decided to take a permanent marker and color on 6 of our Nintendo switch games on both sides and covered the whole game including the chip part. Help, how do we save these games! Any advice is appreciated!

Oh thats tough. I'm no expert on the subject but rubbing alcohol is the classic go-to for cleaning contact points. It'll ruin the label though. The only other thing i can thing of is goo gone...but you're prolly better off just using the alcohol. Just be sure to use small amounts, you want to avoid having liquid sitting in crevices and whatnot.

Give me a heads-up if you're going to send a request please.

After some searching around on the web, we found that dry erase markers are suspended in alcohol.. worked like a charm and all of the games work again! Just wanted to let everyone know in case this happens to them too!

Start with giving your daughter a bloody good belting.

Permanent markets when you’re not a parent are a lifesaver. When you become a parent they become the spawn of the devil.

@Tendo64
A better solution would to keep permanent markers out of reach of little hands.
