I just got my Switch back from Nintendo, took 2 months to replace it, the issue is they replaced it when they said it was going to be repaired. Now we can't find any games on our e-shop to reload and the passcodes for games can't be used twice! If they said they couldn't repair it we probably wouldn't have paid £180 for the repair (only to get a new one back!). I guess their is no way to retrieve these games? If not is hundreds of pounds down the drain! If anyone can help that will be great.
@SammyJ2011 I don't know what you expect anyone to do here since there's nothing anyone here can do about it. You are going to have to contact Nintendo and explain the situation to them and hope for the best.
This is why a majority of my Switch collection is physical not digital.

If you link your Nintendo account to a user account on the new device it should retain your purchase history and let you re-download any games you had previously. No need for passcodes because the games have already been added to your Nintendo account.
If that's not working then you need to contact Nintendo support to find out why.
As far as I'm aware, any games you own digitally are tied to your Nintendo account .... It shouldn't make any difference whether you purchased them in the eshop or redeemed codes for them? I didn't think there was any way to use the eshop or to get digital games for your Switch without linking it to an account?
@SammyJ2011 If you can't redownload via eshop, Nintendo has a record of what games you've bought. If you call customer support, they can access your account info and help you out.
