Topic, want to buy it but if it still has problems don't think I would spend £55 on a faulty controller..

I don't think most people have a problem with their pro controllers, but some people online seem to believe that the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 controller has a better D Pad.
Might be worth researching

@Nookingtons yeah this, I've been checking online and a lot of people have complained that it's sensitive to up/down when using left or right.. And there hasn't been any big news saying that is has been properly fixed so yeh

I just sent my pro controller to Nintendo for repair. There was something wrong with the left control stick. When I would play Splatoon, my character would move incredibly slow when I would move forward. All of the other directions worked fine. The only time I really noticed a problem was playing Splatoon. All other games appeared to be okay. I received my controller as a Christmas gift so it is not very old.

I just ordered mine, glad to hear people have good results with it.

Gotta 2+3+6 LP for SF.

Turns out there are D-pad issues (tried the input checker thing).. But I don't think it'll be an issue for me for the games I play.. I hope not anyway.

Bought a launch, a splat and a xeno. Only kept the xeno.

People on youtube who open things up confirmed the xeno pad has a different dpad and you can feel it instantly if you’ve used the others.

I thought it was just newer, like how old analogues feel slack compared to brand new ones, but no, saw a ton of people open them up and saw it is a different setup under the dpad.

I have the original, the Splatoon version and the Xenoblade version. And have not had any issues. Perhaps there was a specific production batch that was faulty.
