I bought this earlier and played it for about an hour. I really like it! The graphics are nice, the controls are good and can be customised, it has HD Rumble, extensive Grand Prix mode with optional mini games, online leaderboards for time trial,3 different display options - standard, wide-screen and vertical. Yep it has TATE mode and its fantastic. Except for the fact the screen only rotates for races.,not the menus. Hopefully they patch that.
