Similarly, is there a place to be able to mix and match without spending more than normal? When the new ones come out, I'd like to get a purple one and a yellow one since those colors go together better than purple and orange (and they are Lakers colors). Is there a way to do this without paying more than the normal $70-$80 or whatever they cost?
If you want joy cons right now and don't want to wait on a great deal or shipping. Walmart sells them all day long for $10+ or so below MSRP. And (IMO) as always if there's a problem Walmart is one of the easiest companies to get help or your money back.
Edit: If you get the $5 insurance you won't have to worry about drift problems or anything for 2-3 years. This even includes accidental damage caused by the user.

I wouldn't go for 2nd hand ones myself, they are likely to have the drifting problem especially as the older models are worst for it which would be the ones more likely for sale.
Are there any places or stores online where I could get, say, the Splatoon 2 Joy Cons for a discounted price? Thanks in advance!
eBay or from Amazon if they list them or other reputable Online retailers. Otherwise your looking at used Joy-Cons if you can find at decent prices. I got Splatton 2 and X-Chrom Pro controllers and 2 SSB controllers that I have currently along with two black Pro original controllers.
