Sorry if this has been posted already but what exactly would happen if I ploughed over 50 hours into Zelda and then some cheeky monkey stole my Switch. Is there any way to lock the Switch down and recover that game save? im guessing not...
We don't know yet if the switch will have internet (cloud) saves. If it indeed have cloud saves, you should only lose the latest unsaved data. Otherwise your saves will disappear since they are on the console itself.
The Switch should be able to store separate profiles in a similar manner that the Wii U does, so if a cheeky monkey wants to prod their sticky banana-ry fingers all over your shiny new Switch, then they can use their own profile and wreck havoc without desecrating your precious save data.
