So, I just ordered a Nintendo Switch lite, and I was wondering, if I set my Nintendo Switch's region to "The Americas" there shouldn't be any problem redeeming codes bought on Amazon for games that say that they only work for US customers right? I live in Latin America, and I am not sure if there is a specific region that the Nintendo asks for, or if I only need to select "The Americas", so if I select the americas I suppose that I can use codes for games that have the US ONLY disclaimer. I don't know if it is a dumb reasoning or what, but if anyone knows if that is possible it would be great if you let me know!!

I think it's all about the region for your Nintendo ID, actually, @skull3072 .... As far as game releases go, there's usually only 4 of those! So, America is your 'region' as far as those go, whether it's North or South I've been able to redeem European codes, being in UK, so it should work the same

@skull3072 Adding to BruceCM,

Your eshop is only controlled by the region you select in your Nintendo account at https://accounts.nintendo.com . You cannot affect your eshop with settings on the Switch console.

Regarding redeem codes from Amazon purchases: If you buy a digital game or DLC via Amazon, or another online store, I think you can trust they will work regardless of where you buy the game online, even from other countries. I've never heard anyone say they bought a digital game and couldn't use the redeem code. So, you should be fine where every you buy from
