@Judgedean why would they. Nintendolife do reviews on games, articles on gaming news. Why would they make a article on a YouTube app that most don’t even know exist or even use to tell their readers that it doesn’t work or has bugs. I’m surprised by this thread/post
@Player_One Simple, YouTube is the worlds 2nd largest search engine. NL covers more than just games, look at their features section as an example. I’m surprised by your ignorance, or maybe you’re just trolling?
@Player_One oh, and it’s the 2nd most popular download on eshop so you obviously don’t know what you’re going on about, when you say most don’t even know it exist. Do some research before you post so you don’t look stupid.
@Judgedean yea your absolutely right but wouldn’t it have been better to contact the developer youtube. Nintendo life wouldn’t be able to fix the bug. I enjoy playing games on the switch but I really hope you get to enjoy watching YouTube on your switch. Good luck
@Player_One again, you’re missing the point. NL, due to its influence, has a better opportunity of making Google aware. Look at #3, I did raise a fault with Google but NL has a much better chance of making Google/Nintendo aware than myself.
@gcunit It's freezes a lot now while loading video etc and has been a known issue since the last update. I almost exclusively watch YouTube as my media source, but am having to use my mobile phone now as the constant freezing on the Switch is too much.
I'm surprised anyone uses YouTube on Switch. Of all the methods that are available to watch YouTube, Switch is way down that list. Stop watching videos and play some games instead 😉
@Laserbeak1982 Can't say I've noticed a problem. I've used the app for a few hours in the last week or so and wouldn't know there was an issue with it.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
@gcunit there 100% is. I tried using it again last night and gave up after a few black loading screens where nothing happened for 30 seconds or so. Had to resort to using my mobile phone again which isn't great due to the size.
@Laserbeak1982 It's the 2nd most downloaded item on eShop and NL doesn't do a piece on it!? I wish there was a way to rollback the update. Watching YouTube on TV is so much better (and no, I'm not buying a new TV, or dongle when the Switch was more than capable of running YT). Guess I'll just have to wait until Google brings out an update that hopefully fixes it - I even logged an incident with Google but I have a better chance of winning lotto than them looking at my incident.
