First of all hello. This is my first post on this board.

I wonder why it took me so long to get Slaps and Beans. On the one hand I'm a fan of the Bud Spencer and Terrence Hill films, on the other I like brawlers. After what I read here on NintendoLife and in the user reviews on Jeuxvideo.com, this game will fit me like the fist on the eye (as we like to say here, pun intended).
Long time I haven't been that excited to receive a game.

Firstly, welcome to the board.

Secondly, I didn't care for the game myself, although I wouldn't call the game bad by any means. I just felt the gameplay was too in line with the characters themselves...I suppose? Super-short basic attack range, weird attack animations, etc. As someone who has zero nostalgia for the characters and their history in Italian spagetti-western cinema, I thought the comedy bits were pretty good. And the overall animation work is quite nice.

Just...not my kind of brawler. I much prefer Mother Russia Bleeds, 99 Vidas, Streets of Red, etc.

Got it today, it's the next on my play list after I finish Shovel Knight.

Beat the game just now. It's like a dream come true: A brawler with the iconic Italian duo. It's full of references to their films which you can even find in the gameplay. But the game has some serious flaws, I gave it only 6 points out of 10.
