Topic: Escapists 2 crashing

Anyone else experiencing the escapists 2 game crashing constantly? Everytime i try to play a load of a game it crashes after a few minutes of playing.

Same here I try to play a saved game load it or continue and games crashes with an error!!

@Switch2018 Yep same happening to me. Original save file didn't load and was forced to close the game. Started a new file,saved it and it crashed again when loading it up. Deleted the game, rebooted Switch, same results. Basically the game is unplayable. Looking online we're not the only ones.

Warning, Do not buy this game anyone until they fix it. The game is broken.

Glad I bought this game for PC instead, why do they think it's okay to charge us more for a version with unresolved issues -_-

I've never had a game do this in all my years of gaming. Unbelievable!

Haven't had any problems with it. What prison are you on?

Only one crash here, coming out of sleep mode. Doesn't seem like anything to worry about.

What does bother me though, that I actually find this game a bit too hard

Whenever I start a new save file on roll call it just crashes

I've been trying to complete this game and I've currently completed all but the final three prisons. The thing is, I haven't tried fort tundra yet but whenever I start a file, it crashes. Now I'm worried I'm going to be triggered by the number in criminal records never reaching 100%.

I am looking to get this. My son and I saw it on Parker plays, well Escapists 1. And it looks fun for what it is, but is the crash problem still a major issue as far as a game breaker?

@scubydo It works fine for a while, then around 3/4 of the way through you can't really start new files but old saves work fine. Sometimes you just need to wait a little for it to not crash.

I've not gone back to the game. I was unable to load my original save file and any new save files won't load after I exit the game. The game basically does not work for me. I've tweeted the dev and be told me to tweet Team 17 but I never heard back from them. Ridiculous really!

So what if I just started several save files up front, would that allow me to use those files later since they would have already been created?

Good thing I have this on PS4...

I have been playing this game for like the past week for like 6 hours a day, i got on yesterday to escape kapow camp and before i was even able to leave my cell the game closes, is the game still crashing for you guys?
