Topic: Dreamscaper

Anybody playing this game? It's my first time playing a Roguelike and I'm really enjoying it. Always seem to avoid the genre because the games aren't usually suited to my taste but this one with its blend of mild fantasy, realism and human parallels sold me on. The writing and general vibe reminds me a bit of Spiritfarer. Also good to try something different for once as all I've been playing recently are JRPGs, Pokemon and Apex Legends.

Question for those experienced in Rougelikes, is this game leaning on the easy or hard side? Also I'm a little confused on how to properly use elemental combos/attacks. Is this a staple of the genre that the game explains very little regarding it?
