If their will be downloadable games on the switch in the future such as Super Mario 3d Land, Legend of Zelda Wind Waker, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, etc?
Cause I'm thinking about getting a switch but by not having a Wii U before I've missed a lot of games that look interesting to me. So i'm wondering if switch might come out with downloadable licensed games cause it's kinda a deal breaker for me.
The Switch does not have backwards compatibility, so the short answer is "no".
Unless Nintendo chooses to port their 3DS/Wii U catalogue titles to the Switch (and even then, it would be considered on a game-by-game basis), it won't be happening with all of their software.
Considering the low install base of the Wii U, I anticipate that Nintendo will port several older Wii/Wii U games to the Switch during the lifespan of the system (and I hope that this will be the case), but again, this is only a theory on my part, and I cannot confirm one way or the other.
