Topic: Docked Switch randomly cuts out for a few seconds

Hi! I recently bought my first Switch, and for the past few months, have had no problem. However, recently. it will randomly cut to the HDMI menu screen. I've only noticed this with certain games.. mainly Skyward Sword, but my sister noticed it when playing Hogwarts Legacy. It doesn't do this on the home menu or on any other game. Attached below is a video.

I bought a new HDMI cable, but that did not solve the issue. I tried connecting it to the other port in my TV, but the issue persists. My PS4 doesn't do this, so I don't think it's a problem with my TV or its ports, but I'm not a tech person so I could be mistaken.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Maybe some setting I missed? Please help.

@fru1tcup Have you tried different power sockets? I never had that exact problem but I had a kind of similar problem which was forever fixed by swapping to a different socket.

@FishyS there's only two sockets that the AC adapter reaches, and i've had this problem using both unfortunately
