Topic: Diablo IV (Switch)

Ok, so I can’t find anything for sure. Is this for sure coming to Switch? I’d be surprised if it didn’t after D3 came, but everything I see is just PC,XB,PS...

@CTmatic Was there Diablo 4 news I missed? Awesome! Got to check it out. Also, if I can pry myself away from that nefarious racing game I might jump back into D3, so add me as a friend man. My friend code is in my sig.

Just sold my One X. This game looks great. But I can't keep a system just to play a random game or two.

That's Diablo Immortal. Diablo IV is PC/PS/Xbox, and likely still at least a year out.

Blizzcon is wrapping up tomorrow. They introduced Overwatch 2, Diablo IV, and WoW expansion, among other things (mostly PC)

my bad google'd it ur right. I think a long time ago I was reading about potential diablo 4 and I confused it with thinking immortal was diablo 4 which is pretty much what people were saying a long time ago.

I still think a Switch port may come, just not on the same release date, a later date.@rallydefault

Yeah Blizz announced it the other day along with O2. I’m stoked for both. I admit I will be mad if it isn’t ported to Switch eventually since D3 was. I’m on D3 now, hackin slashin away. So good! Yeah I’ll have to enter your friend code. @C-Chakra

@sixrings the X runs most of the multi platform titles by far the best though (from a console perspective) - surely worth keeping for that ?

The x is an amazing console - incredible tech for the money. I really only game now on my one x and switch. Games in 4K on the one x are amazing - gaming handheld on the switch is just as fantastic. Great times !

Blizzard confirmed that Diablo 4 will not have offline mode. I think this time that counts the consoles as well. If that is the case I do not know if I will be getting it. I do not want Diablo MMORPG.

This is definitely not coming to Switch.

I love my Switch, but it just ain't happening, guys. Technical stuff like always online and insane graphics just put this too far out of reach. Overwatch 2 is happening because it's basically just a heavy patch of the original game. Diablo IV is a whole different beast, and unless it becomes some sort of Switch Pro (if that even will exist) exclusive, I just don't see it happening. I know we've had "miracles" with technically demanding games like The Witcher III, but they've mostly been years-old technically demanding games.

True, but MK11 is basically online only and that came amongst others. We’ll see. @rallydefault

Diablo 4 being always-only ruins it for me. Blizzard had SO MANY issues with D3 at launch, and, frankly, I don't see why any non-MMO shouldn't have an offline mode. I don't care about playing with other people.

I guess I'll just stick with Diablo 2 for my dark dungeon romping needs.
