Hi all, First time poster here in dire need of some help understanding my Nintendo Switch console. Ive noticed if i have my console off at home in the dock it will charge the battery to a full 100 percent yet while at work (just charging it as normal without the dock) the charge wont go past the 99 percent mark sometimes it even stops at 98. It usually shoots from 98 to 99 once i quickly tap the power button to put into rest mode then back on again but it wont go to 100. Does anyone know how to solve this problem or if my console has a problem? Another thing ive noticed while playing Zelda after say 15 minutes the battery will go down to around 85 percent it goes down very quick. Id say on a full charge i can play Zelda for around 2 hours or so. If anyone can help with my problems it would be much appreciated.

Should work fine, but have seen other people with problems like this...I don't know what's really wrong with it, and don't know if anybody does.

Its a concern because im now sat at work on a night shift charging my console ive just turned it back on and it wont budge from 98 percent. I could even leave it right up to the end of my shift in for hours time turn it on and it would be on 98 percent yet if i take it home and put it in the dock and charge it that way it would go to 100 its very odd.

I think (which makes it worth what you have paid for this!) it is an issue with reporting rather than the battery itself.

Switch games list,

Legend of Zelda BotW, Human resource machine, NBA Playgrounds, Street Fighter 2, Super Bomberman R, Snipperclips, Overcooked, World of Goo.

Pardon? Thing is i dont think i have the receipt from GAME anymore. Is there a freephone number to contact Nintendo on? I dont need the receipt do i as im dealing with the manufacturer and not the retailer i purchased the system from do i?

Someone has wrote to me on Twitter telling me their friend is having the same problem. So atleast im not alone. I have no idea whats causing it or what fixes it. I just find it odd that when its in the dock it charges normally to 100 percent where as when its charging when im at work it hits 98/99.

Are you in the dock at home and using a 3rd Party USB C cable at work? I find when I charge my Switch in the dock it hits 100% but only gets to 99% when using an Anker USB C cable.

G0d like. I use the plug that comes with the Switch when im at work then when i get home plug is back into the mains and put it into the dock. The only plug ive ever used on my Switch is the power cable which comes in the box
