I chose South Africa as my country's region because the eShop prices seemed to be the cheapest of those that accepted my credit card. But just recently (last week I think) Nintendo made an announcement about adjusting the prices and now South Africa is one of the most expensive.
I would like to switch back to my original country but I get a message that I have to cancel my active subscriptions first (NOS). Does that mean that I lose all of the remaining ~9-10 months of my prepaid one year's subscription?
Has anyone successfully switched countries with an active membership before?
You have to change your Region from the Nintendo account and then when you select your icon on the Switch you will have to re-enter your login to Switch to the right location. I doubt Online services would change other then your Account is tied to to the Online services.
