Topic: Burnout Paradise AKA The Best

This game is so underrated. I just brought this off the eshop and have had no problems. Through racing, taking down cars, and exploring the cities, this is a 10/10 game. I would recommend it to anyone who likes driving games.

It's very good.

It did the free roam driving thing before Forza Horizon made it popular.

Although Test Drive Unlimited 2 came before both.

If you want to go even further back, there's Midtown Madness and it's successor, the Midnight Club series. Some might even give the credit for the first open world racer to Turbo Esprit, although there's no racing as such in that game, just driving through crowded streets like a maniac.

Burnout Paradise is definitely among the high water marks for the genre though.
