Apparently that software update for ARMS removes that loophole people were using to go into practice mode!

Also adds the data for the basketball mode, I imagine.

Aside from the brilliant main theme (the music that plays in the menu, to be more specific), I do think most of the other themes are quite forgettable. The soundtrack's also a tad minimalist, as most of the themes tend to be recycled from the main theme itself.
The main theme is still a wonderful piece of art, though. Best piece of video game music I've heard in ages.

Nooooooo, ah well. I want to try to make a few of the test punches this time around anyway. I only got like 10 minutes last time.

...How are the characters fighting without getting their arms all tangled up?

@Ryu_Niiyama Yikes! My first hour or so was miserable, so I'm glad I was able to play in multiple testpunches. It has definitely grown on me the more of it I play.

I think I'll try out Min Min and Mechanica in this next set of testpunches. I didn't really give either a fair shot.

@Joeynator3000 Tell me about it. My experience with slinkies tells me that the arms on these people should be intertwined in horrifyingly complex ways.

Well, to be fair, a lot of ARMs don't actually stretch out the arms themselves, instead shooting out projectile(s) on a chain. So even if those got tangled, it wouldn't hurt.

Anyway, some full game facts from Gamexplain:

• Grand Prix has seven difficulty settings. First three are quite easy and don't give staff credits, picks up from 4 beyond. Beating it once on higher difficulties unlocks an alternate menu theme sung by Ribbon Girl and Ranked Battle.
• Ranked works by searching for opponents, during which you can play other modes. 1v1 only, no items. You can also toggle the searching at any menu.
• If you win a lot in Party mode, you will sometimes be imposed a handicap on certain matches (going so far as 25% health). Winning despite these will earn you bonus cash.
• You have a higher chance of getting ARMs for the character that you use in the minigame.

I watched a lot of videos on YT about game modes and i can say that this game has also a high replayability! For those who was worried about it just search on YT. You'll see plenty of things that will make you play this game for a VERY long time!

Didn't expect Ranked Battle to have to be unlocked. That's fine though, I do consider it good sense to get some offline practice before putting yourself out there.

The battle handicaps seems like a fun way to motivate you to keep winning. Though I think it should be an option you choose instead of having it thrust on you. But in my book it sounds real fun

@Haru17 Oh, you mean wordless singing? I think the proper term is "vocalizing." Or according to Wikipedia "non-lexical" singing. "Wordless" or "non-lyrical" would also work, but it doesn't have much to do with opera or acoustics. I was just confused at first, as there couldn't possibly be a track I missed that sounded like opera.
