Topic: Are you guys saving your coins in Splatoon 3?

Are you guys saving your coins in Splatoon 3, or spending them whenever you have the chance? A lot of my friends barely have any money to buy stuff despite playing the game for a while, where as I have 400,000k+ saved up. I do, occasionally, buy stuff in Hotlantis and all the other clothing shops but.. lack of money has never been a problem for me.. is it just me? 🤷‍♀️

@squisan I buy out any new clothing that I don't own but that's about all I've been spending it on lately aside from the 5k daily Shell-Out Machine play so I have over 2M saved up at the moment.

@squisan I have around 220,000. I don't like dropping much lower than that, in case I feel the need to farm chunks. When I farm, I like to scrub after earning the first quick chunk. I mostly have my gear set ups that I usually want, so I've been spending less lately. I'd likely have 600,000-700,00+ if it wasn't for the shellout machine. Every time I get to 300,000 I'll buy a couple capsules. Isn't shellout machine how we get the golden banner? I still haven't gotten one of those.

@WoomyNNYes Yeah, iirc the golden banner is 0.1% chance, I, personally, don't think it's worth it to buy multiple capsules a day for a rare capsule like the golden banner or 10 of each ability chunk, since the probability is so low. I always buy the 5,000 coin capsule once a day, and then when Splatfest comes, obviously i use Conch Shells.

@squisan I landed one of those 10 chunks for every ability in mid-late September. Since I have all the gear I want from the current shops, there isn't much else I want. So, currently, the gold banner is the only other thing I still want from the stores until the next content update.

It was 100k to upgrade a shirt from 3-star to 4-star I think, so it's worth keeping at least that much available.
