I don’t think it is a problem. It’s not Nintendo’s fault you sold the game.

@Magician : I've bought the complete edition of Zelda (which I believe has one version worldwide that supports all languages), but I'm bummed that Splatoon 2 is Japanese only. I'll double-dip on any other complete cart release that includes English on the cart, be that Luigi's Mansion 3, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Fire Emblem: Three Houses etc.

I'm also holding out for a complete physical edition of Animal Crossing.

And while the MK8D DLC is somewhat tempting, only due to the strength of Mario Kart, and not due to being in the least bit happy about the fact that an 8 year old game has a massive (and expensive) DLC pack coming out, I simply can't justify the exorbitant asking price when there is no physical option afforded to us. Maybe if it goes on sale, but until then, I'll wait. I doubt Nintendo will have any trouble selling this, but it sets a really bad precedent for the franchise.

This really should have been its own thing. "Mario Kart All Stars", if you will, but Nintendo are evidently not confident that the market is big enough for two evergreen Mario Kart releases.

"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"
