Hey there guys, so I have a question:
If I have two switches (one lite, one normal) and two physical copies of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, can they both play local without NSO membership?

@MetalYT Nintendo's Animal Crossing New Horizons page says the game supports local wireless. Since Local wireless doesn't use internet/routers, NSO membership is not needed.

"Connect with friends using your own systems

With additional systems and games, up to eight Nintendo Account holders can play on the same island at the same time via local wireless or online play*"

@WoomyNNYes Thank you! Haven't really thought of checking the official website to be honest. You just saved me two NSO membership plans!

@MetalYT sure thing.

Well, later on, if you are going to get two NSO memberships, just buy the family plan. It's cheaper than buying two single memberships.
1 membership =$20/year
Family plan =$35/year
