Topic: Animal Crossing Switch Tease?

Nintendo put out a Mother's Day themed post in the Switch news feed. And the picture they used was without question Animal Crossing themed. Maybe I am over thinking it, since there are a few Animal Crossing themed icons already too on Switch. But... could Nintendo be hinting at an E3 Animal Crossing announcement?

It might be wishful thinking. But Animal Crossing Switch is at the top of my list of most wanted series on the system that isn't confirmed. Ohhhh I hope it happens!

I hope Animal Crossing Switch will NOT Force the players to play the game or the Animal Villagers will Move Out.
Just give us some break to Not play them for a while.

And actually i had figured it out how to leave ACNL 3DS Without Losing any Animal Villagers.
Well... all you need is make sure there is a Villager want to Move Out. Say No to them and you can Save the game and Leave your ACNL 3DS forever unless if you want to continue.
But for my case, because i have 4 copies of ACNL (1 is Digital download), i do my Ritual every morning (before 6 am) & afternoon (after 6 pm). Every day i turn on both my 3DS Just only for Day & Time maintenance by set them back to 6 am again on the same day. Since i have 4 ACNL games, i must do it two times. Kinda tedioys, but it worked to Pending someone to Move Out.

@Anti-Matter @Tops That is a key element of the real-time part of the game. Yeah it kinda stinks sometimes and I get that. But personally I like the immersion factor. Playing in the morning, or at night, and the villagers commenting on how often or how little they see you. I can understand your complaint, but I find the real time aspect charming.

I think what is much more suspect is the fact that was discovered a month ago that the official Animal Crossing website has recently been changed a lot underneath the hood.

I just hope it is. I need a reason to play my Switch again. A new Animal Crossing would be great. I've missed the series a lot. I had so much fun with it back in the City Folk days, but I haven't been able to play it since then.

I agree with OP - that's definitely a tease re: Mother's Day news item. There is no other reason to display that background. Fingers crossed for a reveal at E3.
