Topic: Animal Crossing New Horizions- Amiibo Villagers Won't Move in?

Has anyone got a villager to move in via the amiibo cards? I am trying to get Felicity to move in and it says that my town is full when it clearly isn't. I tried looking on reddit and google but I couldn't find much information about it.

Maybe you need to reserve a plot for her first. My ticket islands were empty every time after I invited three villagers, presumably because I can only build the three story plots at the moment.

@dwrbdr Apparently you need to wait for the campsite feature.

I'm mostly curious if any non-AC amiibo work with the game and what they do. In New Leaf there were the characters based on the Squid Sisters from Splatoon for example.

@Manah Yes!! Thank you so much I figured it out with your help. You need to have a plot purchased and have them visit a few times in teh campsite.

@Heavyarms55 I think i read somewhere that the figurines will be implemented later if that is what you mean? I tried the Link one to get Epona back in my village. But it didnt work. I am sure they will fix it.

Yes in New Leaf you could use Link and you would get Epona as a villager. I tried it on my system but it didnt work so hopefully they add that feature later, which I am sure they will. Theyre soo cute!
