I've (temporarily) made a second villager in my town to speed up my furniture ordering, so he might get some bunny day recipes to share.

Time to bring the egg arch back out of storage I guess.

Physical soundtrack release is coming to Japan in 3, 4, and 7 disc sets (and priced accordingly).

The 7 disc set is really expensive though (AU$141 before shipping), but if I do end up picking it up, I won't settle for the incomplete sets.

So I sent my left joycon in today to get it fixed (drifting). Is there any way to be able to play this with only the one joycon? I thought there must be since you play with only one joycon in multiplayer, but I haven't found a way to get it to work. I've played every day since launch so it will be a little sad if I can't play for a couple of weeks until I get it back, but it is what it is.

@Xyphon22 I just tried playing the game with only the right joy-con. It doesn't work, unfortunately. Sorry.

@MarioLover92 Yeah, I tried and couldn't get it to work. I just didn't know if someone else knew some trick that I don't, maybe through the system settings or something. But it's not a big deal.

@Xyphon22 I would imagine if you left the game on standby, activated the right joy-con, then came back, it would still give you that same prompt to have both joy-cons or a pro controller ready. Rather odd that the game doesn't let you use a single joy-con for single player...it only lets you do that when you're playing with another player on your island. Do you have other controllers with you, or is the right joy-con the only one you have now?

Really? That's weird considering that the game makes use of most of the buttons.

@MarioLover92 Nope, unfortunately, that's all we have. We do have another set of joycons, but my son broke the left one. The black part that attaches to the Switch and has the SL and SR buttons is completely broken off and there are strip/wire things hanging from it, so maybe someone would be talented enough to reattach it so it works but I've tried and I'm not. So I have two functional right joycons but no left ones.
@Silly_G Well, I think multiplayer is fairly limited and you can't do everything, but I still thought I could do enough to at least make it playable. Apparently Nintendo thinks otherwise, though.

@Xyphon22 Ah, okay. I hope your left joy-con gets fixed soon. I know there's third-party controllers for the Switch (including ones that cost $20-30, but not sure how good they are), you'll probably want to look into those. There's the Nintendo-made pro controllers too (and they're really good), though they're pretty expensive.

@MarioLover92 Yeah, I honestly don't care enough to buy a new controller (except I just may have to pop for the new Zelda ones when they come out). It will stink a little bit to miss out for a couple of weeks, but I don't play that much every day anyways. The only thing I will really miss is the visitors, because I do want to try to get all the paintings and bug and fish models and things like that, but I don't really care about anything else. The worst thing is I am only about 115,000 bells away from finally making 10 million bells in profit on turnips and finally not having to buy them anymore. I have 500,000 worth in my house now that even a random pattern with any amount of profit would have put me over the top, but I've only had declining prices so far this week and now they are all going to rot.

And I've had to send a joycon in before (the one that is now totally destroyed), and Nintendo was great and I had it back in like 2 weeks, so I can hold out that long. Unless it takes a lot longer now because that was pre-pandemic times, but it's free, so I can't complain. I'll just play a lot of NES games on the NSO app in the meantime because that's all I've found so far that I get into and play with only the one joycon.

@Xyphon22 Ah jeez, sorry to hear about the turnips. I haven't bought turnips for quite some time actually, the last two times I bought them, I had decreasing prices as well. So I was pretty unlucky that time. I had to go to a friend's island both times to sell my turnips. I've been working on getting some new donations for my museum.

Great to hear that Nintendo's cool with fixing the joy-cons, and that you've still got something to play with that one joy-con you have. Yeah, it might take a bit longer because of this pandemic.

I‘m back again. Thanks to all, who sent me DIYs and items in the last weeks. It was very much appreciated.
I’ve got some news too. I had a balloon with clothes today that I have never seen before and after checking the web I can report that it is one of the Sanrio items! I don’t own the cards by the way. Did anyone got this too?Maybe there’s a small chance to get these items via balloon for everyone who can’t afford or get the cards but it will take a long time. There are no reports about this, so we don’t know yet.

Ah, Bunny Day... it's almost over.

I do like the sakura trees though, even a game with intrinsically simple visuals as AC, can emulate the serene beauty of these cherry trees.

I do like the cherry trees a lot. Am I the only person that hasn't been getting the sky eggs from the rainbow colored balloons?
