@Gret8888 if you don't press the A button while swimming and only use d-pad you can move closer to Red King Crab or other fast sea creatures without scaring them away. When you dive you will be much closer and be able to catch them easier.

@Xyphon22 Hi there, just an update from me. I only popped 3 balloons last night, but I got mushroom DIYs from the first two. I got them both before 9 PM. Looks like I'll be playing each night to get all of them!

@MarioLover92 Glad it worked out. I don't know if they get rarer as there are fewer left to get, but I got one in my second balloon last night but didn't get a second one until probably like 1.5 hours later when I was finally done with election coverage and ready to go to bed and decided I would just wait till the next :04/:09 time to see if I could get one more balloon, and it had another recipe! Only 3 more to go now, and I just want to get them before the maple leaf ones show up so they don't take away from each other.

@jamesnl lol I spent like 10 minutes chasing something around the entire map just to find this out the next day from my daughter.

Anyone interested in bagging Audie? I'm soliciting at 4chan at the moment, but no-one's visited so far. Pretty good price for turnips too. I'll share a dodo code later, as I might want to take a break between sessions.

Huh...I'm not getting any balloon DIYs since I got my last two. I was even playing during nighttime. I just have 5 sea creatures left to donate though, so that's cool at least!

Same here. Got a DIY from the first balloon of the day for the first three days of november, but since then nothing...
Five creatures left is very cool. Checked my creatures list and when I get a Red King Crab the next days there are only three left. I guess we’re closing in on the completion of the first year 😉

Meanwhile, i oftenly found balloons flying over on my island.
Recently i played ACNH lesser than before as my island was already looked perfect, still waiting for November update.
What kind of crops we can grow?
Oh, btw. Pumpkin starts available only on October.

If you time travel ahead a couple days and then resync to internet later, what happens then? Do things roll back?

@MarioLover92 That's odd. The last couple of nights it took me longer to get the second one, but I always got one recipe fairly quickly at night, and finally got the twelfth and last one last night. Hope you end up getting more.

I had 3 balloons tonite, 2 had furniture and 1 had 5000 bells. It's discouraging.

@Xyphon22 Thanks! I ended up getting one fall DIY from a balloon tonight, which was the mush umbrella. So there's some hope, lol.
