Can anyone confirm for me if you can only get one pine cone or acorn per tree per day? Also where do we get those maple leaves? And how common are mushrooms? I haven't seen any yet.

Maple leaves and mushrooms only appear later in autumn. Not this month. Maybe you can get a second acorn or pine cone but is it worth it to shake the tree another fifty times. 😉

Since i did Time Travel a lot, i found these during Autumn seasons.

Mushrooms only grew during November (North) / May (South).
Mushroom can be founded near the trees but Truffles should be taken from X mark on the ground.
You can get acorn and pine cone everyday, just keep shaking any Fruit or Non Fruit trees to get acorn or pine cone from Cedar trees. You can get multiple of acorn or pine cone by keep shaking the trees.
Maple leaves only appear during late November / May, similar with Sakura petal during April / October.
Prepare your net and DO NOT run or they will disappear.

@Heavyarms55 You can get more than one of each, actually - I've done a ton of tree shaking and I managed to get 7 pine cones and 3 acorns in a single day. I never came across maple leaves or mushrooms yet either, though. So just pine cones and acorns for now.

@MarioLover92 @Anti-Matter But can I get more than one pine cone or acorn per tree? Is it worth it to keep shaking the tree to get more? I haven't been able to get more than one per tree each day.

And so no maple leaves or mushrooms until later this year?

@Heavyarms55 The highest amount I've gotten from a single tree is 2. So after that I just move on to another tree. And yeah pretty much, I think the maple leaves and mushrooms will start appearing on either the first day of fall or October 1st.

@MarioLover92 Alright. I've got enough pine cones for the 3 recipes I have so far. Despite playing almost daily again, I haven't found any more fall DIYs yet. Aside from the one I got from Isabelle the other two I got from other people. But I can't make any of them until I can find leaves.

@Anti-Matter Is it all of September or until the first official day of fall, September 22nd (Northern hemisphere)?

Completely no mushroom and maple leaves from 1 - 30 September and from 1 - 31 October.
I have time travelled during September until November so i could tell the situation.

@Heavyarms55 Yeah, you're bound to find DIYs that are already learned. I'm sure there's more fall DIYs beyond those 3. Good luck with getting more fall DIYs.

@Heavyarms55 Ive gotten up to 5 from one tree but it did take a good amount of shaking. But it IS possible! Guess it just is a matter of deciding how much time you want to invest in shaking trees!

For anyone who may be interested, I have Gayle in boxes today! I've had her almost since the beginning, but it was time to let her move on.

@edhe I’m not a big fan of this game, but my goodness does the football / soccer pitch look awesome. I wish I had just a fraction of the patience you must have had to make that😂.

I found the date when Redd, Celeste and Meteor Shower happened at the same time in my island ! 😀
I went back to 8 May 2020 and found those situations.

You can get multiple items from a tree if you continue shaking it. Pine cones and acorns are pretty easy to get.

Thanks. I'm glad you're impressed. Where I spent time making all the patterns and laying them out, not to mention flattening the land, I neglected decorating my house and the island in general. Thinking about it now, do you think it might look better if I made the "grass" transparent?
I don't really like how the pattern blends with the natural grass. I might draft it out and post an example here.

It did use up 21 of my custom design slots - I had to simplify it (the only curved bits are the corner spots), add to that 11 shirt icons, the town flag, and (the essential) eyebrows face paint, I'm left with 15 slots.

I was disappointed (but not surprised) that new characters aren't allotted their own design slots.
