Nice. Glad to hear you tried out the things I said and got something from it. Now keep going and level up the friendship since you got a connection to some of your villagers. They’re definitely an interesting group.
E.g. only yesterday I talked to my best villager friend Stitches (I usually start a dialogue three times in a row) and one time he said we should call each other “Your highness” and he’s now Prince Stitches, the second time he told me why he isn’t allowed to drive anymore because he can’t stop thinking that cars are always farting with their combustion engine. Then I had already enough because I couldn’t stop laughing. The prince part was totally new after four months of play!
I noticed some minor nuances in the personalities myself. Best example are the jocks, I had many different on my island to find the one I like the most. There are in my experience the ones who come up with exercise advices, the ones who are just pumping and at last the pretenders who are also a little bit dumb. Dom is a good example of the last group which is the reason I’m not very fond of him although he’s always high in the popular villager ratings. Same goes in my opinion for the snooty ones, some of them are really arrogant, others are nicer it seems to me.
The thought bubbles will also appear with increased friendship and indicate that they want to change your nickname or their greetings or start another mini-event.

When are the trees and ground actually change their color? Was actually a little bit disappointed to find out they haven't today. :')

Leaves and grasses started to change their color after 20 September, changed a lot during November.
Snow started on 10 December.

Got about five all together after I took a round over my whole island.
Although I get the impression when they don’t fall of the tree after the first shake you can go on to the next!

Finally got to donate a char to the museum. That was the only thing in my critterpedia that wasn't donated, so I'm glad I took care of that today

By finding I mean the usual ways to get DIY. You will get it randomly via balloon, message in a bottle or from a crafting villager. Or someone of us who already has it will get an extra copy and send it to you.

@MarioLover92 @Cosmofantasmo I just kept shaking until eventually something different popped out. Managed to get enough to craft the small harvest bounty tree and then got bored of shaking. 😂

Can you give away bugs in Animal Crossing?

@Bmartin001 I've had a villager request a fish before, so I'm sure you could give bugs to villagers too. Not sure about mailing them though, you could try doing that and see if it works.
