I got a jukebox with “K.K. Swing” playing. What a creepy song though. It sounds less like upbeat swing and more like something on the Twin Peaks soundtrack. Now all I need is some 50s chessboard flooring to match the red curtain wallpaper.

I’ve never been this angry about an AC game before. I put a house marker (my final one) down and had been visiting mystery islands to see what villagers were there. None I wanted at four islands yesterday. So this morning I get on and see that my campsite is empty and go about my chores. My house marker is sold. To a snooty villager that I definitely wouldn’t have invited. 😩 Tom Nook is dead to me. Now I’ll have to ignore her as well as Lopez to try again!

I feel you! I had a villager leaving as well and just got replaced but some random, but I guess if you have another friend and they have a villager on their island that you want and is leaving there’s then you could ask them to move to your island! (Hope it helps lol cuz I know I want to try it) @BrittGOAL14

Regarding random villagers moving in, that happened to me on my final villager to move in as well. However, a few days ago, a different villager asked to move out, and I agreed, so now I have an empty lot.

I passed up a campsite visitor yesterday, but is it possible that if you leave a lot vacant for too long, the game automatically finds someone to occupy it? If so, I may visit some islands tonight to see if I can get an appealing villager before I'm assigned one I might not like.

How would that work? Are you able to explicitly invite a villager to your island if they are leaving?
