Topic: Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Has anybody else had trouble getting Nook's cranny to upgrade? I'm not finding concrete ways to do it online.
I've already spent over half a million bells on my island but I don't time travel so I'm wondering if there's a time limit set on it too. Does anyone else have it unlocked?

There may be a hard limit on how long you need to play before it upgrades. I spent quite a bit myself, but I've heard talk you need to have Nooks Cranny established for at least a month.

@alpacatears I was wondering how to upgrade nooks cranny too. The selection in the shop and the Nook miles shopping catalogue is so lame. When you see all the cool stuff people have on their islands you wonder where its all coming from. I found inviting Walt using the amiibo cards 3 days in a row gave me 3 nice recipes. Wish I had bought a few more pack before they sold out.

Does someone have decent turnips prices? Mine are around 70 at their highest for 3 days now...

@peace_n_love_92 when I got my 4 star rating I had only used about 30pieces of fencing for a garden area. I have only worked on one side of the island plus there was the area I dumped loads of flowers for later which you saw. TBH I was not expecting a 4 star rating I was just curios to hear the feedback. I would choose an area, 1/4 of the island and landscape it with flowers and outdoor furniture and that should work I think.

@foxyflimflam no it’s not sorry. I want that sign post too. I see so many people with amazing items I don’t have. It’s not fair. My villagers only offer me tacky rubbish

Here's another resource I found on reddit - it works in a similar way to that other one, but it has the capability to track your friends' prices (provided they input their own).

@meeto_1 Same! I get garbage furniture in my shop too! Luckily a few of my friends have gotten some nice things they craft or order for me (I of course reimburse them) 😊 Its such a basic diy item I don't understand why it is so hard to get!

@alpacatears I heard you need to put in 29 days of gameplay, spend like 70k bells, and donate 30 fish, 30 bugs, and 30 fossils to the mueseum for it to upgrade. Not sure how legit that is, but I have read it in a few spots. Hope that helps!

My turnips are at like 325 or 375 or something right now if anyone wants to take advantage. Let me know.

@Blaze420 To get the option to choose, you will have to "kick" them out by using the amiibo thou if they leave on their own, you will get random village visiting the island or once the plot vacant, you straightaway visit mystery island to search for the one ( don't talk to them if you don't want them ) you might like.. maybe need to go a few time back to back. ( I did once and got Poppy. But the first 2 trip, I got a tiger Tybalt and then rhino Renée. On the 3rd trip I got Poppy, so I talk to her and invite. )
