Now that we have that out of the way I humbly ask that who ever locked the original post please don’t do so with out giving this post at least a week to actually get more repsponses/attention. I have a life to lmao i cant just come and reply right away this is a post not a live chat session....
Since the original post i posted was locked and sealed I could not reply back to any of the questions served up in there. I could have sworn i posted the topic in the Godeater 3 section of this forum site... but its been made apparent that i did not... now to answer some of the things that people made note of. As the title of the post suggest. The game known as Godeater 3 needs an actual button remapping overhaul because as it stands currently it forces you to use certain actions off of certain face map buttons and shoulder buttons the problem with this is that i cant get my controller to function the way i would like without confusing my brain to mush. What i mean by this is that if i were to use the Nintendo switches native button mapper all it does is allow you to switch buttons around which is good and all, but when i do such a thing for god eater 3 which lets say i want light attack as the right shoulder button heavy as the right trigger dodge as the left trigger button as well as having guard on that same left trigger button i wouldn’t be able to since the game developers made guard and dodge separate individual actions in this game and not like not standard other hack and slashers that have it where if you just press the guard button with no movement of an analog alongside it you would block therefore when you press it again with a directional input it would make it possible to have two actions in one button. The rabbit hole gets deeper though because now when i want to pick up any items in a match in the game it'll say press the A button which my brain will instinctively try to do but now my A button has been mapped literally to a shoulder button so now I'm forced to have to Re learn what everything that is going on when I’m not in combat lol. Which makes the game feel less immersive for myself (Main issues is that all the buttons are scrambled now just so i can try to do what i want to do in combat) this in turn makes the game somewhat un enjoyable because i still am lacking options to rectify this dilemma. So to sum it up they need a very detail button mapping mapper for in combat, out of combat, in menus, & ect we need to see all the actions possible and be able to assign them to any button we would want them assigned to. Including the analog sticks buttons as well. I was trying to get word out on this wonderful title so that people may see and choose to agree or disagree for good reasons if they have any stating why it shouldnt be implemented on this statement as well as be able to help upvote this post so that maybe the dev team of Godeater 3 can see this and maybe say hmm hey he has a strong valid point. Having customizable controls that better suit himself and or would suit anyone that wanted full control of how they control their in game character. This game has a lot of potential but imo is very bogged down by only having three different preset controls From type A to type B and lastly to type C. We need full ability to customize how we play this game to our liking something as small and simple as this should be the norm in any video game it is on pc games so i don’t see why it shouldn't be on console games.
Seriously though, and I know I'm kinda ruining people's fun here. This is a Nintendo fan forum and while there are surely developers on here it's going to be purely co-incidental. Even less would be game developers, even less would have any direct association with Nintendo let alone being employed by Nintendo. Also, he game you're talking about wasn't developed by Nintendo so even if this was a site with people from Nintendo in it it'd be the wrong place for this.
edit: Side note, as someone who's job description in the past has partly involved reading and responding to feature requests for software? Nobody's going to read a wall of text like that and even if they did it's unlikely it'd be escalated very far. Feature requests are likely to be a low priority to start with so you're fighting an uphill battle as it is. If you really do want to contact Marvellous your best bet would be to keep it short, at most three sentences.
Also don't get into arguments with people who are trying to field your responses. That's an easy way to get yourself blocked. If this was actually an email thread in a Marvellous ticketing system? The people responding to you would have better things to do than cater to your specific wants.
I would also say be careful what you wish for. Last game I played with in-game button mapping (Fenyx), they were a mess and each change messed up other button’s functionality. There is a lot of customization available, you just really need to spend the time to make sure you are covering all bases when doing it. End of the day, it was MUCH easier for me (and a lot of others, if various forums are anything to judge by, from what I saw) to learn the default layout, as annoying as it was.
I’d also recommend putting a TLDR at the top of your post to state: “Games, such as God Eater 3, should have in game button mapping as an option to allow the controls to be similar to other hack n slashes.” At least I think that’s what up we’re getting at, tldr...
@Zaydenblu We had no idea what you were talking about at first LOL. I played the demo and just couldn't get into manly graphic wise and control's so I see were your coming from, I know I just played the demo sorry this may not mean much.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

Sorry for not being active much recently, but I’m very much alive!
That's a lot of text to get through.
I doubt we will see fully customisable control schemes on the switch - it would have been an option with the pro if it was something Nintendo was considering.
Another option would be to pick up an Xbox Elite pad and a wireless adapter. The Elite is fully mapable with the ability to save your controller schemes, although only 2 loadouts can be saved to the pad at once.

@TheJGG lol it’s a NL inside joke, too. I’ve toned it down as I finally accepted that most people just want to rant and insult others rather than discuss games, but I used to be well known for spitting out walls of text as my excitement and hope for meaningful discussion got the better of me. Youth.
I think currently the champs are NEStalgia, Thanosrexx, rjejr and Jaxonh. At least those are the most consistent ones I’ve seen.
I do feel bad for OP though as the lack of paragraphs means many won’t actually read the thread.
